Chaolian Subdistrict () is a subdistrict of Pengjiang District, Jiangmen, Guangdong, China. It covers an area of 12.68 square kilometers, and has a registered population of 12,808 as of 2008. History Chaolian was a subdistrict called Hua'e Du of Xinhui District in Qing Dynasty. During the Republic of China, the area belonged to Xinhui County's 4th District (). In 1955, the area fell under the jurisdiction of the Waihai People's Commune (). In 1961, the area was moved to the Hetang People's Commune (). In 1977, the area was placed under the jurisdiction of Jiangmen as the Chaolian People's Commune (). In 1983, Chaolain was changed to a district, and in 1987 was changed again to a town. Guzhen, Guangdong
Guzhen () is a town situated on the northwest periphery of the city of Zhongshan, Pearl River Delta, Guangdong Province, some from the city center. The town is best known for manufacturing lighting. In recent years the town has grown into a place with thousands of small and big factories all related to lighting in one way or the other. Many international lighting companies have factories and showrooms in Guzhen town, which is about one and a half hours drive from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. Foshan
Foshan (, ), alternately romanized as Fatshan, is a prefecture-level city in central Guangdong Province, China. The entire prefecture covers and had a population of 9,498,863 as of the 2020 census. The city is part of the western side of the Pearl River Delta Economic Zone whose built-up (or metro) area was home to 65,694,622 inhabitants as of 2020 (excluding Hong Kong not conurbated yet), making it the biggest urban area of the world. Xijiang Bridge
The Xi River (; ) or Si-Kiang is the western tributary of the Pearl River in southern China. It is formed by the confluence of the Gui and Xun Rivers in Wuzhou, Guangxi. It originates from the eastern foot of the Maxiong Mountain in Qujing City, Yunnan Province. Then it flows east through Guangdong, and enters the Pearl River Delta just east of the Lingyang Gorge in Zhaoqing. The main branch of the Xi River flows southeast through the delta entering the South China Sea at Modao Men, just west of Macau. The major cities along the Xi include Wuzhou, Zhaoqing, and Jiangmen.
