Chanda Aur Bijli
''Chanda Aur Bijli'' (English: Moon and Lightning) is a 1969 Bollywood film directed by Atma Ram. It stars Sanjeev Kumar, Padmini in lead roles. The film was dedicated to actor-filmmaker Guru Dutt. Atma Ram (director)
Atma Ram Padukone (1930–94) was Hindi film and TV director born in Calcutta. He was the younger brother of legendary film maker Guru Dutt. Personal life His father Shivshankar Padukone was a clerk at Burmah Shell and his mother was a teacher. He grew up with his three brothers – Guru Dutt (filmmaker), Devi Dutt (producer) and Vijay (advertising) - and his sister Lalitha Lajmi. He studied at the University of Bombay (1952). Jankidas Mehra (1910 – 18 June 2003) was an Indian actor of Hindi cinema, cyclist, production designer, and writer. He made over 1000 film appearances between the 1930s and 1997. Biography Sports Jankidas served as the only Indian member of the International Olympic Committee at the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin along with Hockey legend Major Dhyanchand and was the only Indian to have broken the world record in cycling between 1934 and 1942.
