Chaldean Americans
Assyrian Americans ( syr, ܣܘܼܖ̈ܵܝܹܐ ܐܲܡܪ̈ܝܼܟܵܝܹܐ) refers to individuals of ethnic Assyrian ancestry born in or residing within the United States of America. Assyrians are an indigenous Middle-Eastern ethnic group native to Mesopotamia in West Asia who descend from their ancient counterparts, directly originating from the ancient indigenous Mesopotamians of Akkad and Sumer who first developed the independent Civilization, civilisation in northern Mesopotamia that would become Assyria in Early Assyrian period, 2600BCE. Modern Assyrians often culturally self-identify as Terms for Syriac Christians#Syriac%20identity, Syriacs, Chaldean Catholics, Chaldeans, or Terms for Syriac Christians#Aramean%20identity, Arameans for religious and tribal identification. Arizona ( ; nv, Hoozdo Hahoodzo ; ood, Alĭ ṣonak ) is a state in the Southwestern United States. It is the 6th largest and the 14th most populous of the 50 states. Its capital and largest city is Phoenix.
