''Celebrity Sweepstakes'' is an American television game show that aired on NBC's daytime schedule from April 1, 1974 to October 1, 1976. The show also had two separate weekly syndicated runs from September 9, 1974 to September 1975 and again from September 20, 1976 to September 1977. Jim McKrell hosted the show. Bill Armstrong was the main announcer, with Dick Tufeld and John Harlan substituting. Joey Bishop and Carol Wayne were the regulars who appeared most often. Other panelists included Clifton Davis, Buddy Hackett, George Hamilton, JoAnn Pflug and Freddie Prinze. ''CS'' was produced jointly by Ralph Andrews and Burt Sugarman. The Burbank Studios (formerly known as NBC Studios) is a television production facility located in Burbank, California. Susan Stafford (born Susanna Gail Carney; October 13, 1945) is an American former model, actress and television host. She was the original daytime hostess of the American game show ''Wheel of Fortune'' from January 6, 1975, until she left on October 22, 1982. Charles Herbert Woolery (born March 16, 1941) is an American game show host, talk show host, and musician. He has had long-running tenures hosting several game shows. ''Blank Check'' is an American game show that aired on NBC from January 6 to July 4, 1975. It was promoted as "television's first ESP game". Art James was the host, with Johnny Jacobs as the announcer (Johnny Gilbert filled occasionally). ''Jackpot'' (also referred to as ''Jackpot!'') is an American and Canadian television game show produced by Bob Stewart which saw contestants attempting to solve riddles in order to win cash and prizes. ''Jackpot'' made its debut on the NBC television network on January 7, 1974 as part of their daytime schedule and ran until September 26, 1975. The show was videotaped in New York City, where Stewart was based at the time, and was hosted by Geoff Edwards. In 1985, Stewart teamed up with USA Network and Global Television Network for a revival that aired in both the United States and Canada. ''Hollywood Squares'' (originally ''The Hollywood Squares'') is an American game show in which two contestants compete in a game of tic-tac-toe to win cash and prizes. The show Television pilot, piloted on NBC in 1965 and the regular series debuted in 1966 on the same network. The board for the game is a 3 × 3 vertical stack of open-faced cubes, each occupied by a celebrity seated at a desk and facing the contestants. The stars are asked questions by the host and the contestants judge the truth of their answers to gain squares in the right pattern to win the game.
