Castle Grayskull
Castle Grayskull is a fortress located on the fictional planet Eternia. It forms a central location in the '' Masters of the Universe'' toy/comic/animation universe and also appears in the 1987 live action adaptation. The concept is credited to Donald F. Glut. The toy set was invented by Roger Sweet. Castle Grayskull was a "major feature of Mattel's line", and was "one of the most famous playsets of all time". In the storyline of the franchise, it is the target of numerous attacks by Skeletor, Hordak and the Snake Men, all of whom believe that the secrets inside will allow them to conquer Eternia and become the titular Masters of the Universe. Gary S. Cross, professor of modern history at Pennsylvania State University, writes that Castle Grayskull is emblematic of the making of a boy-man culture beginning in the 1980s. Teela
Teela is a fictional superheroine from the '' Masters of the Universe'' franchise. She is the Captain of the Royal Guard at the palace of Eternos and thus responsible for training and protecting Prince Adam of Eternia. While Adam is He-Man, Teela often assists him in his battles, but she is unaware of his alternate identity. Teela is one of the first characters developed for ''Masters of the Universe'', although her figure was released in the second half of the first wave. Writer Donald F. Princess of Power (sometimes abbreviated as POP and informally referred to as ''She-Ra'', after the lead heroine) is a toyline created by Mattel. Battle Cat
Cringer is a fictional large cat in the ''Masters of the Universe'' franchise. He has green and orange striped fur, similar to that of a tiger (although his species is not truly known), and is Prince Adam’s feline companion. Whenever Adam transforms into He-Man, he uses his Power Sword to transform Cringer into the much larger and mightier Battle Cat to serve primarily as his riding mount. ''He-Man and the Masters of the Universe'' (1983-1985) Cringer, despite being a large cat, displays characteristics more consistent with a domestic house cat.
