Carol Littleton
Carol Sue Littleton, (born October 23, 1942) is an American film editor. Her work includes ''Body Heat'' (1981), '' E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial'' (1982), and '' The Big Chill'' (1983). Littleton was the recipient of an Emmy Award for Outstanding Single Camera Picture Editing (for a TV Miniseries, Movie or a Special) for '' Tuesdays with Morrie'' (1999). Littleton served as president of the Motion Picture Editors Guild from 1988 to 1991, and as vice president from 1994 to 2001, as well as from 2005 to 2007. Littleton has been elected as a member of the American Cinema Editors, and serves as ACE vice president since 2019. She is also a current member of the board of governors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (Film Editors Branch). Carol Littleton is married to cinematographer John Bailey. Karen Arthur
Karen Arthur (born August 24, 1941) is an American film director, producer, and actress. Arthur has directed three feature films, including '' Lady Beware'' (1987) and '' The Mafu Cage'' (1978), but the majority of her work has been in television, where she has had a long and prolific career directing television movies and series. In 1985, she won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing in a Drama Series (for an episode of ''Cagney & Lacey''). She is currently a resident of the town of Springfield, Vermont. Alan Rudolph
Alan Steven Rudolph (born December 18, 1943) is an American film director and screenwriter. Early life Rudolph was born in Los Angeles, California, the son of Oscar Rudolph (1911–1991), a television director and actor, and his wife. He became interested in film and was a protégé of director Robert Altman. Rudolph worked as an assistant director on Altman's film adaptation of Raymond Chandler's '' The Long Goodbye'' and later on ''Nashville''. Career Rudolph's films focus upon isolated and eccentric characters and their relationships, and frequently are ensemble pieces featuring prominent romanticism and fantasy. He has written almost all of his films. Willard Huyck
Willard Miller Huyck, Jr. (born September 8, 1945) is an American screenwriter, director and producer, best known for his association with George Lucas. Career Huyck and Lucas met as students at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, film school of the University of Southern California, and became members of Francis Ford Coppola's American Zoetrope group of filmmakers. ''The Mafu Cage'' (also released as ''My Sister, My Love'', ''Deviation'' and ''Don't Ring the Doorbell'') is a 1978 American psychological horror film directed by Karen Arthur, and starring Carol Kane and Lee Grant. Its plot follows two sisters, both the daughters of a late anthropologist, residing in a dilapidated Los Angeles mansion: one, an astronomer, and the other, a dysfunctional eccentric who keeps and tortures a variety of monkeys and other primates. "The Hazing" is a science fiction short story by Isaac Asimov. It was first published in the October 1942 issue of '' Thrilling Wonder Stories'' and reprinted in the 1972 collection ''The Early Asimov''. Discussing the story in ''The Early Asimov'', the author noted that it is set in the same fictional universe as his earlier stories " Homo Sol" and " The Imaginary", but featured different characters. "The Hazing" was the thirtieth story written by Asimov, and the twenty-eighth to be published.
