Carmelo Rado
Carmelo Rado (born 4 August 1933) is an Italian athletics competitor. He competed for his native country in the discus throw at the 1960 Olympics held in his home country, finishing in seventh place. He also competed in the 1962 European Athletics Championships. Biography Rado grew up in Biella, and has lived in South Africa and San Donato Milanese. He currently lives in Calusco d'Adda, Bergamo. Rado has continued to throw into the upper age divisions of masters athletics. He holds the current M70, M75 and M80 world record in the discus throw, the M75 and M80 world record in the weight pentathlon and the M80 world record in the weight throw Two sports have events that fall under the name of weight throw one being the track and field event and the other being the Scottish highland games events. Oderzo
Oderzo ( la, Opitergium; vec, Oderso) is a '' comune'' with a population of 20,003 in the province of Treviso, Veneto, northern Italy. It lies in the heart of the Venetian plain, about to the northeast of Venice. Oderzo is crossed by the Monticano River, a tributary of the Livenza. List Of World Records In Masters Athletics
Masters athletics is a class of the sport of athletics for athletes of over 35 years of age. The events include track and field, road running and cross country running. These are the current world records in various five-year-groups , maintained by WMA, the World Association of Masters Athletes, which is designated by the World Athletics (formerly IAAF) to conduct the worldwide sport of Masters (Veterans) Athletics (Track and Field). Starting at age 35, each age group starts on the athlete's birthday in years that are evenly divisible by 5 and extends until the next such occurrence. For record purposes, older athletes are not included in younger age groups, except in the case of relay team members. A relay team's age group is determined by the age of the youngest member.
