Carlos Pinto (born May 12, 1959) is a popular Chilean journalist, writer and television presenter. In 1984, he and Santiago Pavlovic began an investigative program called Informe Especial which airs in TVN. He is the father of the football player Sebastián Pinto Sebastián Pinto (born 5 February 1986) is a Chilean former professional footballer who played as a striker. Carlos Pinto (born 24 August 1959) is a Portuguese Olympic dressage rider. Carlos' brother Daniel Pinto, Daniel is also Portuguese Olympian in dressage. Championships Carlos Pinto represents Portugal since 1989, he competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Hong Kong, where he placed 38th in the Equestrian at the 2008 Summer Olympics – Individual dressage, individual competition. He also competed at the 2014 FEI World Equestrian Games, 2014 World Equestrian Games, and at seven European Dressage Championships (in 1995, 1997, 2001, 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2021). His current best championship result is 9th place in team dressage from the 2009 FEI European Jumping and Dressage Championships, 2009 European Dressage Championship held at Windsor Castle, while his current best individual result is 32nd place from the same event. José Carlos Alves Ferreira Pinto (born 2 March 1973) is a Portuguese former footballer who played as a midfielder, currently a manager. Playing career Born in Paços de Ferreira, Pinto began his senior career at Rebordosa A.C. of the third division in 1991. A year later, he returned to his parent club F.C. Paços de Ferreira, making one substitute appearance in each of his two Primeira Liga seasons. Besides four matches – one start – for S.C. Salgueiros in the top tier in the 1998–99 campaign, Pinto spent most of his career in the lower leagues, representing Associação Naval 1º de Maio, C.D. Feirense and G.D. Chaves in the Segunda Liga over six seasons (21 as a senior overall). Coaching career Pinto's first managerial job was at F.C. Tirsense in the third level in 2012. Carlos Alberto da Mota Pinto, GCC, GCIP, (; Pombal, 25 July 1936 – Coimbra, 7 May 1985) was a Portuguese professor and politician. Career He graduated as a licentiate in law and doctorate in judicial sciences from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra. He was also a professor at the Portuguese Catholic University and several foreign universities. Still today, his doctrine is very influential in the Portuguese legal community, mainly in what comes to civil law.
