A walking stick or walking cane is a device used primarily to aid walking, provide postural stability or support, or assist in maintaining a good posture. Some designs also serve as a fashion accessory, or are used for self-defense. Walking sticks come in many shapes and sizes and some have become collector's items. Anthony William Nicholas Strephon Cane is the current dean of Portsmouth: he was installed on Saturday 16 March 2019. Cane was born on 25 August 1961 in Cape Town, South Africa: his English parents had emigrated the previous year. He is married, and has three adult children. He attended the Bishops Diocesan College, Cape Town and the University of Cape Town, where he read English and history. In his own generation he was a leading comedian and dancer, and one of the famous and popular performers of his time. Cane Broome (born November 29, 1994) is an American professional basketball player for the St. John's Edge of the National Basketball League of Canada. He played college basketball for the Sacred Heart Pioneers and the Cincinnati Bearcats. College career He was named Northeast Conference Player of the Week three times as a sophomore. On February 20, 2016, he became the only player since the 2010–11 season score at least 39 points, post six rebounds and six assists without turning the ball over. Broome was named Northeast Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year in his sophomore season at Sacred Heart, just the second sophomore to do so. Jarbas Faustinho (born 21 September 1939 in Rio de Janeiro) commonly known as just Cané () is a Brazilian former professional footballer and coach. Although born in Brazil, Cané played the majority of his football career in Italy. At club level he played as a winger for S.S.C. Napoli and Bari amongst many other teams. Mukalla ( ar, ٱلْمُكَلَّا, ') is a seaport and the capital city of Yemen's largest governorate, Hadhramaut.
