The Eurovision Song Contest 2000 was the 45th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, held on 13 May 2000 at the Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden and presented by Kattis Ahlström and Anders Lundin. Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster (SVT), the contest was held in Sweden following the country's victory at the with the song "Take Me to Your Heaven (song), Take Me to Your Heaven" by Charlotte Perrelli, Charlotte Nilsson. With an audience of 13,000 people present, the 2000 contest was the largest yet seen in its history. Katarina Sofie "Kattis" Ahlström (born 9 June 1966) is a Swedish journalist and television presenter. She is a sister of Gabriella Ahlström. She hosted the Eurovision Song Contest 2000 together with Anders Lundin, in the Stockholm Globe Arena, and announced the Swedish results in the Eurovision Song Contest 2003. Marie Bergman (born 21 November 1950) is a Swedish singer. Between 1969 and 1972, she was a member in the pop group Family Four, which represented Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1971 and 1972. She started her solo career in 1974. She has during the years released 13 own-written records and 2 jazz albums and has received numerous awards. Fred Roger Pontare (born Roger Johansson; 17 October 1951) is a Swedish musician. He lives in Bjuråker in Hudiksvalls kommun. Pontare was born in Arjeplog Municipality, and is of Sami descent. He has represented Sweden twice in the Eurovision Song Contest, in 1994 (duet with Marie Bergman) with " Stjärnorna" and in 2000 with " When Spirits Are Calling My Name", placing 13th and 7th, respectively.
