Czechoslovak First League
The Czechoslovak First League (, ) was the premier football (soccer), football league in the Czechoslovakia from 1925 to 1993, with the exception of World War II. Czechoslovakia was occupied by German forces who formed Gauliga Sudetenland and Gauliga Böhmen und Mähren leagues on occupied territories. Until the 1934-35 season, no teams from Slovakia participated in the league. Czechs were allowed to run their own league in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, while Slovaks were granted their own independent Slovak State and created their own league. After the World War II the league was recreated. Description The league was dominated by clubs from Prague with Sparta Prague winning 19 titles, Dukla Prague 11 and Slavia Prague 9. The attendance record for the league was set on 4 September 1965, when 50,105 spectators attended a match between rivals Sparta and Slavia in Prague. SK Kladno
Sportovní klub Kladno, commonly known as SK Kladno, is a football club from Kladno, Czech Republic. It plays in the Bohemian Football League (third tier of the Czech football system). The club was founded on 15 February 1903. The team plays at the Stadion Františka Kloze, named after legendary player of this club František Kloz. Antonín Rýgr
Antonín Rýgr (15 August 1921 – 28 March 1989) was a Czech football manager and former player. As a player, Rýgr played mostly from SK Kladno before joining Sparta Prague in 1950. In 1952 and 1954 he won the Czechoslovak First League with Sparta. Rýgr also appeared in two matches of the national team in 1948. After finishing his active career, Rýgr started to work as a football manager. He coached both famous Prague clubs, Slavia Prague and Sparta Prague. He also coached FK Teplice and Czechoslovakia national football team. Josef Bican
Josef "Pepi" Bican (25 September 1913 – 12 December 2001) was an Austrians, Austrian-Czechs, Czech professional Association football, footballer who played as a Forward (association football)#Striker, striker. He is regarded by some to be the greatest goalscorer in the history of the sport. He is considered by RSSSF as the List of footballers with 500 or more goals, second-most prolific goalscorer in history after Erwin Helmchen, with over 950 goals scored in 624 official matches. He scored 591 goals in 301 official games for Slavia Prague across his 11-year playing career at the club. Bican began his professional career at Rapid Vienna in 1931. After four years at Rapid, he moved to local rivals FC Admira Wacker Mödling, Admira Vienna. Dukla Pardubice
Dukla Pardubice was a Czechoslovak football club. Founded in 1953 as Tankista Praha in the capital city of Prague, the club moved to the city of Pardubice in 1956 and subsequently became Dukla Pardubice. In its eight-year existence, the club spent six seasons in the Czechoslovak First League. League history The club played as Tankista Praha in the 1953–1955 seasons of the Czechoslovak First League. In 1956 they moved to Pardubice and competed as Tankista in 1956's II. Liga, group A, in which they finished first. In the 1957–58 season, under the revised name of Dukla Pardubice, the club again contested the Czechoslovak First League, where they played until 1960. In 1960–61 Dukla again played in the II. MŠK Žilina () is a Slovak football club based in the town of Žilina, that is playing in the Slovak First Football League.
