Curtis Marsh, Jr.
Curtis Joseph Marsh Jr. (born March 1, 1988) is a former American football cornerback. He was originally drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft. Marsh was released by the Philadelphia Eagles at the end of the 2013 preseason and signed by the Cincinnati Bengals. He played college football at Utah State. Marsh's father, Curtis, played wide receiver in the NFL for three seasons. Early years Born in West Hills, California, and raised by his mother, Trayci Gibson with his sister M'haganee Kahlil Gibson. A cornerback (CB) is a member of the defensive backfield or secondary in gridiron football. Cornerbacks cover receivers most of the time, but also blitz and defend against such offensive running plays as sweeps and reverses. West Hills is a suburban / residential community in the western San Fernando Valley region of the City of Los Angeles, California. The percentage of residents aged 35 and older is among the highest in Los Angeles County. The New York Giants are a professional American football team based in the New York metropolitan area. The San Jose State Spartans football team represents San José State University in NCAA Division I FBS college football as a member of the Mountain West Conference. History Early history (1893–1970) San Jose State first fielded a football team in 1893 under head coach James E. Addicott. Addicott also served as a math professor at the California State Normal School (now San José State University).
