Craig Cathcart
Craig George Cathcart (born 6 February 1989) is a Northern Irish former professional association football, footballer who played as a centre-back. He played for the Northern Ireland national football team, Northern Ireland national team, and Captain (association football), captained his country's Northern Ireland national under-21 football team, under-21 side. A product of the Manchester United F.C., Manchester United youth academy, Cathcart spent time on loan at Belgian club Royal Antwerp FC, Royal Antwerp, and English Football League Championship sides Plymouth Argyle F.C., Plymouth Argyle and Watford F.C., Watford, before joining newly promoted Blackpool F.C., Blackpool in 2010. The Audi Cup is a biennial two-day pre-season friendly football tournament that features four teams, hosted by the German club Bayern Munich, and is staged at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany. It has been held every two years since 2009 (except 2021 and 2023), opposite the FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro, before the start of the Bundesliga season as well. It does not count as a formal trophy.
