Craicmore
Craicmore (krặk•mor) is a contemporary Celtic music band from Los Angeles, California, United States. The band is known for its original musical arrangements, built around traditional Irish people, Irish and Scottish people, Scottish songs and tunes. Craicmore performs throughout the United States, and has toured internationally. Craicmore's music has been featured on TV shows like ''Without A Trace'', ''How I Met Your Mother'', and ''Days of Our Lives''. As of 2013, the band consists of Nancy Johnston (lead vocals, percussion), John MacAdams (guitar, percussion, didgeridoo and backing vocals), Dave Champagne (bagpipes, woodwinds and backing vocals), and Sean Faye-Cullen (bass and backing vocals). Sue Draheim
Sue Draheim ( ; August 17, 1949 – April 11, 2013) was an American fiddler, boasting a more than forty year musical career in the US and the UK. Growing up in North Oakland, Draheim began her first private violin lessons at age eleven, having started public school violin instruction at age eight while attending North Oakland's Peralta Elementary School. She also attended Claremont Jr. High, and graduated from Oakland Technical High School in 1967. Originally trained as a classical violinist, Draheim became involved in many other genres and recorded albums with groups representing Cajun, Old Time, country, Zydeco, folk jazz, Irish and British folk music. Early on in her career, Celtic fiddle became Draheim's major focus. Scottish People
The Scots ( sco, Scots Fowk; gd, Albannaich) are an ethnic group and nation native to Scotland. Robbie Burns
Robert Burns (25 January 175921 July 1796), also known familiarly as Rabbie Burns, was a Scottish poet and lyricist. Irish traditional music sessions are mostly informal gatherings at which people play Irish traditional music. The Irish language word for "session" is ''seisiún''. This article discusses tune-playing, although "session" can also refer to a singing session or a mixed session (tunes and songs).
