Gerald Conway (11 September 1947 – 29 March 2024) was an English rock drummer and percussionist. He performed with the backing band for Cat Stevens in the 1970s, with Jethro Tull during the 1980s, and was a member of Fairport Convention from 1998 to 2022. Marshall "Eddie" Conway (April 23, 1946 – February 13, 2023) was an American black nationalist and a leading member of the Baltimore chapter of the Black Panther Party. He was convicted in 1971 for the murder of a police officer. Conway and his supporters considered him a political prisoner.
