Conrad Orzel
Conrad Orzel (born July 11, 2000) is a Canadian figure skater and model. He is the 2019 Bavarian Open silver medalist and 2023 Canadian national silver medalist. Earlier in his career, he won two medals on the ISU Junior Grand Prix series and placed 13th at the 2017 and 2018 World Junior Championships. Personal life Orzel was born on July 11, 2000, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is of Polish ancestry and speaks English, French, and Polish. Orzel studied at York University. He also models during his free time and is signed with the Ciotti Models modeling agency. Career Orzel began learning to skate in 2003. Eva Najarro became his coach when he was five years old. 2019 Cup Of China
The 2019 SHISEIDO Cup of China was the fourth event of the 2019–20 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, a senior-level international invitational competition series. It was held at Chongqing Huaxi Culture and Sports Center in Chongqing, China from November 8–10. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance. 2023 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships
The 2023 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships took place at the Broadmoor World Arena from February 7–12, 2023, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in the United States. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, women's singles, pairs, and ice dance. Nations from non-European countries could send 3 entries at most for every discipline. Qualification Age and minimum TES requirements The competition was open to skaters from all non-European member nations of the International Skating Union. The corresponding competition for European skaters was the 2023 European Championships. The 2017 World Junior Figure Skating Championships were held March 15–19, 2017 in Taipei City, Taiwan (Chinese Taipei). Commonly called "World Juniors" and "Junior Worlds", the event determined the World Junior champions in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. ISU Junior Grand Prix
The ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating (titled the ISU Junior Series in the 1997–98 season) is a series of international junior-level competitions organized by the International Skating Union. Medals are awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The series was inaugurated in 1997 to complement the senior-level ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. The 2023 Canadian Tire National Skating Championships were held on January 9-15, 2023 in Oshawa, Ontario. The Bavarian Open is an annual international figure skating competition organized by the Skating Union of Bavaria. Since 2011, it is sanctioned by the Deutsche Eislauf Union and the International Skating Union. The event is held in February at Eissportzentrum Oberstdorf in Oberstdorf, Germany.
