Commensaviricota
''Anelloviridae'' is a Family (biology), family of viruses. They are classified as vertebrate viruses and have a non-enveloped capsid, which is round with isometric, icosahedral symmetry and has a triangulation number of 3. The name is derived from Italian ''anello'' 'ring', referring to the circular genome of anelloviruses. It is the sole representative of its own phylum, ''Commensaviricota'' (from its "commensal" lifestyle in the human virome + wikt:-viricota, -viricota). Genome The genome is not segmented and contains a single molecule of cccDNA, circular, negative-sense, single-stranded DNA. The complete genome is 3000–4000 nucleotides long. They also contain a non-coding region with one to two 80–110 nt sequences that contain high GC content, forming a secondary structure of stems and loops. The genome has Open reading frame, ORFs and a high degree of genetic diversity. Although the mechanism of replication has not been studied heavily, anelloviridae appears to use th ...

Family (biology)
Family (, : ) is one of the eight major hierarchical taxonomic ranks in Linnaean taxonomy. It is classified between order and genus. A family may be divided into subfamilies, which are intermediate ranks between the ranks of family and genus. The official family names are Latin in origin; however, popular names are often used: for example, walnut trees and hickory trees belong to the family Juglandaceae, but that family is commonly referred to as the "walnut family". The delineation of what constitutes a family—or whether a described family should be acknowledged—is established and decided upon by active taxonomists. There are not strict regulations for outlining or acknowledging a family, yet in the realm of plants, these classifications often rely on both the vegetative and reproductive characteristics of plant species. Taxonomists frequently hold varying perspectives on these descriptions, leading to a lack of widespread consensus within the scientific community ...
