Cognitive Warfare
Cognitive warfare consists of any military activities designed to affect attitudes and behaviors, by influencing, protecting, or disrupting individual, group, or population level cognition. It is an extension of information warfare using propaganda and disinformation. NATO General Paolo Ruggiero distinguishes it from other information-related activities by its objectives: "Its goal is not what individuals think, but rather, the way they think." Exponents of cognitive warfare aim to influence human thought, reasoning, sense-making, decision-making, and behavior, through the manipulation of information and use of machine learning structures which distribute information on the internet. YouTube is an American social media and online video sharing platform owned by Google. Institute For National Defense And Security Research
The Institute for National Defense and Security Research (INDSR) is a Taiwanese think tank based in Taipei. Value (ethics)
In ethics and social sciences, value denotes the degree of importance of some thing or action, with the aim of determining which actions are best to do or what way is best to live (normative ethics), or to describe the significance of different actions. Value systems are proscriptive and prescriptive beliefs; they affect the ethical behavior of a person or are the basis of their intentional activities. Often primary values are strong and secondary values are suitable for changes. What makes an action valuable may in turn depend on the ethical values of the objects it increases, decreases, or alters. Belief
A belief is a subjective Attitude (psychology), attitude that something is truth, true or a State of affairs (philosophy), state of affairs is the case. A subjective attitude is a mental state of having some Life stance, stance, take, or opinion about something. Thought
In their most common sense, the terms thought and thinking refer to cognitive processes that can happen independently of sensory stimulation. The National University of Defense Technology (NUDT; ) is a national public research university headquartered in Kaifu, Changsha, Hunan, China. It is affiliated with the Central Military Commission.
