Coupled Map Lattices
A coupled map lattice (CML) is a dynamical system that models the behavior of nonlinear systems (especially partial differential equations). They are predominantly used to qualitatively study the Chaos theory, chaotic dynamics of spatially extended systems. This includes the dynamics of wiktionary:spatiotemporal, spatiotemporal Chaos theory, chaos where the number of effective Degrees of freedom (physics and chemistry), degrees of freedom diverges as the size of the system increases. Features of the CML are Discrete-time dynamical system, discrete time dynamics, discrete underlying spaces (lattices or networks), and real (number or vector), local, continuous state variables. Studied systems include Population dynamics, populations, chemical reactions, convection, fluid flow and biological networks. More recently, CMLs have been applied to computational networks identifying detrimental attack methods and cascading failures. CMLs are comparable to cellular automata models in terms o ...

Chemical Markup Language
Chemical Markup Language (ChemML or CML) is an approach to managing molecular information using tools such as XML and Java. It was the first domain specific implementation based strictly on XML, first based on a DTD and later on an XML Schema, the most robust and widely used system for precise information management in many areas. It has been developed over more than a decade by Murray-Rust, Rzepa and others and has been tested in many areas and on a variety of machines. Chemical information is traditionally stored in many different file types which inhibit reuse of the documents. CML uses XML's portability to help CML developers and chemists design interoperable documents. There are a number of tools that can generate, process and view CML documents. Publishers can distribute chemistry within XML documents by using CML, e.g. in RSS documents. CML is capable of supporting a wide range of chemical concepts including: * molecules * reactions * spectra and analytical data * compu ...

Camooweal Airport
Camooweal Airport is located northeast of Camooweal, Queensland, Australia. The airport is operated by the Mount Isa City Council and is mainly used by the Royal Flying Doctor Service to support the operation of weekly medical clinics for the Camooweal community. The airport also functions as a base to land supplies and perform evacuations during emergencies such as flooding. Facilities Aside from the sealed runway 13/31 which is and a small apron area, there are minimal facilities at the airport. Solar powered lighting for the runway and apron areas is available for emergencies at night. Arriving and departing aircraft coordinate movements using a Common Traffic Advisory Frequency as there is no control tower at the isolated airstrip. A Non-Directional Beacon navigational aid is located close to the airport. Roman Numeral
Roman numerals are a numeral system that originated in ancient Rome and remained the usual way of writing numbers throughout Europe well into the Late Middle Ages. Numbers are written with combinations of letters from the Latin alphabet, each with a fixed integer value. The modern style uses only these seven: The use of Roman numerals continued long after the decline of the Roman Empire. From the 14th century on, Roman numerals began to be replaced by Arabic numerals; however, this process was gradual, and the use of Roman numerals persisted in various places, including on clock faces. For instance, on the clock of Big Ben (designed in 1852), the hours from 1 to 12 are written as: The notations and can be read as "one less than five" (4) and "one less than ten" (9), although there is a tradition favouring the representation of "4" as "" on Roman numeral clocks. Other common uses include year numbers on monuments and buildings and copyright dates on the title screen ...

Chiltern Main Line
The Chiltern Main Line is a railway line which links London () and Birmingham (Birmingham Moor Street railway station, Moor Street and Birmingham Snow Hill railway station, Snow Hill) on a route via High Wycombe, Bicester, Banbury, Leamington Spa and Solihull in England. It is currently one of two main line railway routes between London and Birmingham; the other is the West Coast Main Line between Euston railway station, London Euston and , which is the principal Inter-city rail, inter-city route between the two cities. A third main line, High Speed 2, is currently under construction. The name ''Chiltern Line'' was invented as a marketing name for the line by Network SouthEast in 1985, with reference to the Chiltern Hills that the route passes through near its southern end. The route was originally part of the Great Western Railway's main line from Paddington railway station, London Paddington to Birmingham Snow Hill railway station, Birmingham Snow Hill, and . Camarillo (Amtrak Station)
Camarillo station is a passenger train station in Camarillo, California. Amtrak's ''Pacific Surfliner'' between San Luis Obispo and San Diego and Metrolink's Ventura County Line between Los Angeles Union Station and Ventura–East station stop here. It is located at the foot of Ventura Boulevard at the intersection of Lewis Road, and is underneath the US Highway 101 overpass. A lengthy pedestrian overcrossing must be used to transfer between the platforms so a shorter tunnel route is planned. The first Camarillo depot was at this same location until Southern Pacific ended passenger service. History When the Southern Pacific Railroad built a new line from Ventura to Los Angeles, it built a depot to serve the Rancho Camarillo. It was a Southern Pacific two-story design, similar to the still existing Santa Susana Depot built on the same line. It was located where the current Ventura Freeway overpass is today. While the overpass was being built in 1955, the depot building w ...

N(6)-Carboxymethyllysine
''N''(6)-Carboxymethyllysine (CML), also known as ''N''ε-(carboxymethyl)lysine, is an advanced glycation endproduct (AGE). CML has been the most used marker for AGEs in food analysis. Recently, it has been demonstrated that gut microbiota mediates an aging-associated decline in gut barrier function, allowing AGEs to leak into the bloodstream from the gut and impairing microglial function in the brain. It is suggested that the amount of CML in human blood samples may correlated with age. A humanized monoclonal antibody which binds to N6 – carboxymethyl lysine shows considerable promise as a possible therapeutic agent for treating pancreatic cancer. Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia
Chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML), also known as chronic myeloid leukemia, is a cancer of the white blood cells. It is a form of leukemia characterized by the increased and unregulated growth of myeloid cells in the bone marrow and the accumulation of these cells in the blood. CML is a clonal bone marrow stem cell disorder in which a proliferation of mature granulocytes (neutrophils, eosinophils and basophils) and their precursors is found; characteristic increase in basophils is clinically relevant. It is a type of myeloproliferative neoplasm associated with a characteristic chromosomal translocation called the Philadelphia chromosome. CML is largely treated with targeted drugs called tyrosine-kinase inhibitors (TKIs) which have led to dramatically improved long-term survival rates since 2001. These drugs have revolutionized treatment of this disease and allow most patients to have a good quality of life when compared to the former chemotherapy drugs. In Western countries, CML ...

Council Of Mortgage Lenders
The Council of Mortgage Lenders was an industry body representing mortgage lenders in the United Kingdom. Its members consisted of banks, building societies and specialist lenders and represented 95% of mortgage lending in the UK. In November 2015 it was confirmed that the Council of Mortgage Lenders would be merged with the British Bankers' Association, Payments UK, the UK Cards Association and the Asset Based Finance Association, following a review into financial trade bodies. It became part of the newly established UK Finance in July 2017. The CML's ''Lenders' Handbook for England and Wales'' (or "the CML Handbook) was used to direct how solicitors and conveyancers handled their role in arranging mortgages and completing sales of property. For example, the Handbook required solicitors and conveyancers to ensure that they held a signed Mortgage Loan Agreement to the full value of the advance before completion of a sale, and they were to hold the loan on trust for the lender u ...
