Clive Holland
Clive Holland is an English television and radio presenter. From 2009 to 2013 he presented the BBC One daytime show '' Cowboy Trap''. He has also presented other programmes such as GMTV and Channel 4’s ''‘Big Big’ Holiday Show'' and on stage at the Ideal Home Show, the RHS Hampton Court Flower Show and London Fashion Week. Biography Holland became known for his voice-over and live theatre work. In his early years, Holland was well known as a DJ and broadcaster. Cowboy Trap
''Cowboy Trap'' is a British daytime television show on BBC One, originally hosted by Clive Holland, and later presented by Jonnie Irwin. It follows homeowners who have had cowboy builders who in some cases have rendered their homes uninhabitable (two cases in each show). The team addresses the problems and usually confront the cowboy builder by a phone call, though this is not always successful. The show's second series replaced ''To Buy or Not to Buy''. The Ideal Home Show (formerly called the Ideal Home Exhibition) is an annual event in London, England, held at Olympia. The show was devised by the ''Daily Mail'' newspaper in 1908 and continued to be run by the ''Daily Mail'' until 2009. It was then sold to events and publishing company Media 10. Overview The goal of the Ideal Home Show is to bring together everything associated with having an "ideal home", such as the latest inventions for the modern house, and to showcase the latest housing designs. A regular feature of the show for many years was the Ideal House Competition, where designs were invited and the winning schemes erected at the exhibition the following year. The show is run by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) at Hampton Court Palace in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.
