Clint Marcelle
Clint Sherwin Marcelle (born 9 November 1968) is a Trinidadian former professional footballer and coach. As a player he was a striker and between 1995 and 2006. He notably played Premier League football for Barnsley as well as also playing for Trintoc, RD Agueda, Vitoria Setubal, Rio Ave, FC Felgueiras, Scunthorpe United, Goole, Hull City, Darlington, Harrogate Town, Hucknall Town, Stevenage Borough, Ossett Town, Scarborough, Grimsby Town, Tamworth, Arnold Town, Gainsborough Trinity and Armthorpe Welfare. He previously managed the North East Stars in Trinidad and Tobago's Professional Football League. He also played internationally for his country and now runs his own Football Academy named the "Clint Marcelle Football Academy". The TT Premier Football League (formerly known as the TT Pro League) is the Trinidad and Tobago professional league for association football clubs. It is the country's primary football competition and serves as the top division in the Trinidad and Tobago football league system. Contested by ten clubs, the league is one of the world's few football leagues that does not operate on an automatic system of promotion and relegation. Seasons run from September to May, with teams playing 18 games each totaling 90 games in the season. United Petrotrin
United Petrotrin Football Club was a football club from Trinidad and Tobago and a former member of the TT Pro League of Trinidad. It was dissolved in 2009. History Formed in 1980, ''Trintoc'' entered the Point Fortin Football League that same year and immediately won the League title and then entered the fourth division of the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation, which they also won in their first year. By the end of the decade Trintoc had won every title in local soccer (league champions in 1986 and 1988) and even became Caribbean champions in 1988 when they beat Seba United F.C. of Jamaica in the final. During this period another oil-based team, ''Trintopec'', also rose to prominence and in 1992, the T&T government decided to merge both companies, Trintoc and Trintopec to form Petrotrin.
