Cliff Bungalow
Cliff Bungalow is an inner city residential neighbourhood in the southwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. Centered along 5 Street SW, it is bordered by Elbow River to the south, by Uptown 17th Avenue to the north and by Fourth Street to the east. Cliff Bungalow was developed on land owned by the Canadian Pacific Railway in the 1870s. It was mainly populated by CPR employees, due to the convenient distance from the district to CPR headquarters and railyards. The area was gradually annexed to the City of Calgary between 1906 and 1912. Cliff Bungalow was established in 1907 although the name "Cliff Bungalow" would not be applied until the 1970s. It was re-zoned in 1935 to allow for denser residential buildings. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 8 councillor. The community has an area redevelopment plan in place. Elbow Park is an affluent residential neighbourhood in the southwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is one of the oldest and wealthiest communities in the city. It is bordered to the south and east by Elbow River, to the east by Elbow Drive, to the north by Council Way and to the west by 14 Street W. The Mission district is an inner city neighbourhood of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, that originated as , a Catholicism, Catholic mission and was for a time the incorporated Village of Rouleauville. Mount Royal, Calgary
Mount Royal is an area of Calgary, Alberta and is home to the neighbourhoods of Upper Mount Royal (to the south) and Lower Mount Royal (the northern section, on flat terrain), which are separated by an escarpment that runs along Cameron and Royal Avenues in an east-west direction. Beltline, Calgary
Beltline is a community in central Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The area is located immediately to the south of Calgary's Downtown Calgary, downtown (south of 9th Avenue and the Canadian Pacific Railway tracks), and is sometimes considered part of downtown. The neighbourhood's boundaries are roughly 14th St SW to the Elbow River, and 17th Ave SW to 9th Ave SW. Western Canada High School
Western Canada High School is a public high school in Calgary, Alberta that has operated since 1929. The high school was antedated by Western Canada College, a boys' preparatory school in the style of a British public school that opened in 1903. The College existed until the end of the 1926 academic year when it closed due to financial problems. The Calgary Board of Education purchased the property that year, and by September 1929 completed a group of new school buildings on the site. From 1929 to 1935 academic and technical schools operated independently on the Western property, until which time they merged under a single administration.
