Claudia Bernardi
Claudia Bernardi (born 1955) is an Argentine artist who works in the fields of art, human rights and social justice, combining installation, sculpture, painting and printmaking. She has worked with communities that have suffered state terror, violence, forced exiles and who are victims of human rights violations. Two major artworks are: Tree of Life and Walls of Hope Bernardi was born in Buenos Aires. She is Professor of Community Arts, Diversity Studies, Critical Studies at the California College of the Arts. California College of the Arts (CCA) is a private art school in San Francisco, California. It was founded in Berkeley, California in 1907 and moved to a historic estate in Oakland, California in 1922. In 1996 it opened a second campus in San Francisco; in 2022, the Oakland campus was closed and merged into the San Francisco campus. CCA enrolls approximately 1,239 undergraduates and 380 graduate students. La Salle University Art Museum
The La Salle University Art Museum is located in the basement of Olney Hall at La Salle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The museum features six galleries. Collections include European and American art from the Renaissance to the present. Special collections including paper, Japanese prints, rare illustrated Bibles, Indian miniatures, African carvings and implements, Pre-Columbian pottery and Ancient Greek ceramics. Changing exhibits are held of historic and contemporary art drawn from the collections and from outside collections. Scottsdale Museum Of Contemporary Art
Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA) in the state of Arizona is a museum in the Old Town district of downtown Scottsdale, Arizona. The museum is dedicated to exhibiting modern works of art, design and architecture. The Museum has four galleries that house various exhibitions, curated from their growing permanent collection and rotating shows. Knight Rise skyspace, by Arizona artist James Turrell, is permanently on view. History SMoCA was conceived in 1988 and opened in February 1999. The now-evocative, minimalist building is a complete retrofit by Phoenix, Arizona, Phoenix-based architect Will Bruder of a former movie theater. Ulrich Museum
The Edwin A. Ulrich Museum of Art is a museum located on the campus of Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas. The museum opened on December 7, 1974 in McKnight Art Center, where it is still located today. It is best known for the large Venetian glass and marble mosaic by Joan Miró found on the facade of the building, titled ''Personnages Oiseaux,'' a mural on 80 panels. It is also well known for the large Martin H. Bush Outdoor Sculpture Collection of 80 works across 330 acres, which was named Top Ten among campus sculptures in 2006 by ''Public Art Review''.
