Circa (stylized as ''CIRCA:'') is a progressive rock supergroup founded by four musicians associated with Yes: former Yes members Alan White (drums), and Tony Kaye (Hammond, keyboards), current Yes members Billy Sherwood (vocals, bass guitar) and Jay Schellen (drums), and guitarist Jimmy Haun, who played on the Yes album '' Union''. Since 2012, the lineup has consisted of Sherwood (vocals, guitar), Kaye (keyboards), Rick Tierney (bass guitar), and Scott Connor (drums). Biography Origins Jimmy Haun and Michael Sherwood (Billy's elder brother) were childhood friends and went on to form the band Lodgic, which Billy joined in 1981. Circa (styled as C1RCA) is a skateboard footwear and apparel company founded in 1999 that is based in San Clemente, California. The brands first pros were Chad Muska and Jamie Thomas. It is distributed in Europe by Option Distribution. History and team Circa began in 1999 when Chad Muska left éS following the success of the shoe he designed with them. He partnered with Four Star Distribution, launching the Circa brand. Circa's shoes at the time followed the design ethos of éS, with Muska's designs featuring multiple iterations of the "weed stash spot", something he started with the shoe he designed with éS. Disc-binding is a type of notebook binding that uses discs to hold the sheets of paper. Each disc has a raised edge. Notebook sheets have perforations along the binding edge that match the profile and spacing of the binding discs. Notebook sheets are removed by peeling the perforations away from the binding discs. Sheets are added by affixing the perforations to the discs. Sheets can be transferred between disc-bound notebooks of different functions and sizes, provided the discs have the same profile and spacing. In addition to using paper specifically manufactured for a particular disc-binding system, ordinary paper can be inserted by using a specially designed hole punch to perforate the pages to conform to the discs. The complex is adjacent to the Pico/Chick Hearn Station of LA's Metro rail public transit station. Circa Resort & Casino is a casino and hotel resort in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada, on the Fremont Street Experience. The property was previously occupied by the Las Vegas Club hotel-casino, the Mermaids Casino, and the Glitter Gulch strip club. Circa is owned by brothers Derek Stevens, Derek and Greg Stevens, who also own other downtown casinos.
