Chus Trujillo
Ignacio Jesús "Chus" Trujillo Cabrera (born 6 July 1971) is a Spanish football coach who is a current manager. Career Trujillo was born in Tenoya, Las Palmas, Canary Islands, and played for local side CA Tenoya before becoming manager of their ''Cadete'' squad in 2004. In 2007, after one year in charge of their ''Juvenil'' team, he moved to UD Las Palmas as an assistant of the ''Juvenil División de Honor'' squad and manager of the ''Juvenil C'' team. Ahead of the 2009–10 season, Trujillo was named manager of CD Goleta in the Segunda Regional, leading the club to a promotion to the Primera de Aficionados in his first year, and to the Interinsular Preferente in 2013. Shortly after his second promotion, however, he was named at the helm of UD San Antonio also in the fifth tier. Tercera División () was the fourth tier of the Spanish football league system. Until 1977, it was the third tier of the Spanish football league system. Founded in 1929, it was below the ''Primera División'' (also known as La Liga), the ''Segunda División'', and the semi-professional ''Segunda División B''. The 2022–23 Primera Federación season was the second season for the Primera Federación, the third highest level in the Spanish football league system. Forty teams participated, divided into two groups of twenty clubs each based on geographical proximity. In each group, the champions were automatically promoted to Segunda División, while the second to fifth placers played the promotion play-offs and the bottom five were relegated to the Segunda Federación. 2021–22 Segunda División RFEF
The 2021–22 Segunda División RFEF season was the first for the Segunda División RFEF, the new fourth highest level in the Spanish football league system. It supplanted Tercera División, which downgraded to the fifth tier as Tercera División RFEF and succeeded the old Segunda División B, which was replaced by Primera División RFEF as the third level of the pyramid. Ninety teams will participate, divided into five groups of eighteen clubs each based on geographical proximity. In each group, the champions automatically promoted to Primera División RFEF, and the second to fifth placers will play promotion play-offs. 2020–21 Segunda División B
The 2020–21 Segunda División B season was the 44th since its establishment and the last as the third tier. A total of 102 teams participated, and were distributed in three groups of 20 teams each and two groups of 21, with eight subgroups of ten teams each and two with eleven teams each. On 6 May 2020, the Royal Spanish Football Federation announced the expansion of the league to what were initially five groups of 20 teams each for the 2020–21 season due to promotion from the Tercera División groups in the curtailed past season being applied. The season began on 18 October, following approval by each of Spain's autonomous regions' health departments. Segunda División B (English: second division B) was the third tier of the Spanish football league system containing 102 teams divided into five groups, until it was replaced by the new structure in 2021. It was administered by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. 2020 Tercera División Play-offs
The 2020 Tercera División play-offs to Segunda División B from Tercera División (Promotion play-offs) were the final playoffs for the promotion from 2019–20 Tercera División to 2020–21 Segunda División B. The first four teams in each group took part in the play-off. Format Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the format was changed to an "express play-off" between the four first qualified teams of each group at the moment of the suspension, without meeting teams from other groups. Playoffs were played, if possible, in a final four format at neutral venues and depending on the evolution of the pandemic in each region, with spectators or behind closed doors. In case of a draw in any game there were no penalty shootout or overtime; the best-positioned team in the regular season will qualify. Only one team per group were promoted.
