Christopher Walker (born 3 June 1967) is a Gibraltarian triathlon, triathlete and bicycle racing, cyclist. Career Walker first competed for Gibraltar at the 2000 IAAF World Cross Country Championships in Vilamoura, Portugal where he placed 158th in the 2000 IAAF World Cross Country Championships – Senior men's race, senior men's race in a time of 46:48 and finished 149th in the 2000 IAAF World Cross Country Championships – Senior men's race, men's short race in a time of 14:15. The following year at the 2001 Island Games in the Isle of Man, Walker finished 4th in the Triathlon at the 2001 Island Games – Men's individual, men's individual triathlon with a time 2:06:30. At the same meet, Walker also recorded a personal best and Gibraltarian records in athletics, national record time of 10:34.95 in the final of the Athletics at the 2001 Island Games – Men's 3000 metres steeplechase, 3000 m steeplechase. Mahapatabadige Anthony Crisman Kivlojiyas Perera (13 September 1921 – 20 May 1988 as ඇන්තනී සී. පෙරේරා) inhala, popularly known as Anthony C. Perera, was an actor in Sri Lankan cinema and theater. One of the earliest pillars in Sri Lankan film history, Perera also worked as a singer, screenplay writer and director in a career spanning more than four decades. Personal life Perera was born on 13 September 1921 in a small village of Mahawewa Vee Hena, Chilaw, in Puttalam as the eldest child of the family. The World Triathlon Corporation (WTC) is a sports event promotion company owned by conglomerate Advance Publications, that produces the Ironman Triathlon, Ironman 70.3, the 5150 series of triathlon races, and other sports events. History In December, 1989, Dr. James P. Gills and David Voth acquired and purchased the Hawaii Triathlon Corporation, owner of the Ironman Brand, for $3 million from Valerie Silk. Voth was the CEO from 1989 to 1993 followed by David Yates then Lew Friedland in the CEO role. The 2002 Commonwealth Games, officially known as the XVII Commonwealth Games and commonly known as Manchester 2002, were an international multi-sport event for the members of the Commonwealth of Nations, Commonwealth held in Manchester, England, from 25 July to 4 August 2002.
