Christopher Newman Hall
Christopher Newman Hall (22 May 1816 – 18 February 1902), born at Maidstone and known in later life as a 'Dissenter's Bishop', was one of the most celebrated nineteenth century English Nonconformist divines. He was active in social causes; supporting Abraham Lincoln and abolition of slavery during the American Civil War, the Chartist cause, and arranging for influential Nonconformists to meet Gladstone. His tract ''Come to Jesus'', first published in 1848 also contributed to his becoming a household name throughout Britain, the US and further afield, supposedly selling four million copies worldwide over his lifetime. Christopher Hall (sculptor)
Christopher Hall is a British sculptor, born in 1942 in Nottingham, England, and now living in Scotland. He attended Loughborough College of Art, as well as Edinburgh College of Art, where he studied sculpture under Eric Schilsky. Christopher Hall (musician)
Christopher Hall (born Robert Christopher Hall, May 18, 1965) is an American musician best known as a founding member and vocalist for the industrial rock band Stabbing Westward. Hall met keyboardist Walter Flakus in 1984 and formed the band in Macomb, Illinois. After the breakup of Stabbing Westward in 2002, Hall founded a new band, The Dreaming in 2001. After reuniting in 2016, Hall has remained active with Stabbing Westward and released a new album, titled ''Chasing Ghosts'' in March of 2022. Personal life Hall has stated that he attended Western Illinois University during the early years of Stabbing Westward, alongside keyboardist Walter Flakus. Hall is married and has 2 sons. In July 2022, Hall announced that he had been diagnosed with throat cancer. Christopher John Hall (born 30 March 1957) is an English television producer. He has produced dramas primarily for the BBC, ITV, and Channel 4 networks, and worked for major British production companies, including Kudos, Carnival Films, Hat Trick Productions, World Productions and Tiger Aspect Productions. Personal life Hall was born in London, the son of French actress and dancer Leslie Caron and English stage director Peter Hall. He has a sister, Jennifer Caron Hall, and four half-siblings, including director Edward Hall and actress Rebecca Hall. Christopher James Hall (born 28 November 1977) is a former English cricketer. Hall was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm off break. He was born in Bury, Greater Manchester. Hall made his debut for Cheshire in the 1999 MCCA Knockout Trophy against the Lancashire Cricket Board. Hall played Minor counties cricket for Cheshire from 1999 to 2001, including 12 Minor Counties Championship matches and 3 MCCA Knockout Trophy matches. In 1999, he made his List A debut against the Surrey Cricket Board in the NatWest Trophy. He played two further List A matches for Cheshire, against Kent in the same competition and Lincolnshire in the 2000 NatWest Trophy.
