Christen Sveaas
Christen Sveaas (born 18 June 1956) is a Norwegian businessman, investor, art collector and donor. He is the founder and sole owner of Kistefos AS, vice chairman of the board of the Kistefos Museum and chairman of the board of Anders Sveaas Allmennyttige Fond. Early life Christen Sveaas was born in Oslo, and was awarded a degree from the University of St. Gallen in 1981. His paternal grandfather is Anders Sveaas (1840–1917), who founded the company Kistefos Træsliberi in 1889. The company was sold by the family to Viul Tresliperi in 1985, against Christen Sveaas' wish. Investments Christen Sveaas started his first investment company in 1979, and, from 1982 to 1985, he worked at Grieg Finans before becoming independent. Anders Sveaas
Anders Sveaas (November 27, 1840 – August 24, 1917) was a Norwegian businessperson and consulate. He was the founder of the Kistefos Wood Pulp Mill in Jevnaker, Norway. Biography Anders Sveaas was born on November 27, 1840, on the Haug farm in Modum. Sveaas was involved in a number of foreign ventures before founding the Kistefos pulp mill (''Kistefos Træsliberi'') at Kistefossen on the Randselva near Jevnaker in Oppland, Norway. Kistefossen is located just below the end of the Randsfjord where the Randselva river forms a boundary between Jevnaker in Oppland and Ringerike in Buskerud. Sveaas had bought the Kistefossen waterfall the year before production at the pulp mill started in 1890. Oslo
Oslo ( or ; ) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. Bagatelle was a gourmet restaurant in the borough Frogner in Oslo, Norway. Until 2012, it was the only Norwegian restaurant that has held two stars in the Michelin guide. The restaurant lost one of its stars in 2008, though was restored as a two-star restaurant in March 2009. In the 2011 Michelin Guide Bagatelle had zero stars, but regained a star in 2012. is a daily newspaper published in Oslo, Norway. The former party organ of the Norwegian Labour Party, the ties loosened over time from 1975 to 1999. It has borne several names, and was called ''Arbeiderbladet'' from 1923 to 1997. Eirik Hoff Lysholm is editor-in-chief. The newspaper depends on economic support from the Norwegian Government. History was established by Christian Holtermann Knudsen in 1884 under the name ''Vort Arbeide'' ('Our Work' in archaic Riksmål), and was affiliated with the trade union center ''Fagforeningernes Centralkomité''. Tate is an institution that houses, in a network of four art galleries, the United Kingdom's national collection of British art, and international modern and contemporary art.
