Chris Tiu
Christopher John Alandy-Dy Tiu (born July 15, 1985) is a Filipino former professional basketball player who is currently a television presenter. He played college basketball for the Ateneo Blue Eagles with whom he won the UAAP title in 2008. He went on to play his entire professional career for the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), winning the Commissioner's Cup in 2016. He also played for the Philippine national basketball team and was captain of the roster that competed in the 2011 FIBA Asia Championship. Outside basketball, he is a TV host, model, politician, and businessman. He hosts the television shows '' iBilib'' on GMA and ''1-on-1 Tiu-torials'' on TV5. 2011 FIBA Asia Championship
The 2011 FIBA Asia Championship for Men is the intercontinental championship for basketball organized by FIBA Asia that doubles as a qualifying tournament for the men's basketball tournament of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, England, United Kingdom. PBA Commissioner's Cup
The PBA Commissioner's Cup is a tournament of the Philippine Basketball Association. Along with the PBA Governors' Cup, the tournament (also named as "conference") is one of the two competitions in a PBA season that allows teams to hire a single foreign player, also known as an "import". The tournament was first held in 1993 as the PBA season's second competition. The tournament was discontinued when the Invitational Championship was reintroduced in 2003. The Ateneo Blue Eagles are the collegiate varsity teams of the Ateneo de Manila University that play in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), the premiere collegiate league in the Philippines.
