Chris Harris (safety)
Chris Harris (born August 6, 1982) is an American football coach and former safety who is the passing game coordinator and defensive backs coach for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Chicago Bears in the sixth round of the 2005 NFL draft after playing college football for the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Harris also played with the Carolina Panthers, Detroit Lions, and Jacksonville Jaguars, and has coached with the Bears, San Diego / Los Angeles Chargers, Washington Commanders, and Tennessee Titans College career Harris attended college at Louisiana-Monroe. After redshirting the 2000 season, he was a four-year starter from 2001 to 2004. Washington Commanders
The Washington Commanders are a professional American football team based in the Washington metropolitan area. 2006 Chicago Bears Season
The 2006 season was the Chicago Bears' 87th season in the National Football League, and the third under head coach Lovie Smith. The team improved on their 11–5 record from 2005 and finished with a 13–3 record; the best in the NFC. The Bears retained their NFC North divisional title and advanced to their first NFC Championship Game in 18 years, defeating the New Orleans Saints on January 21, 2007, by a score of 39–14. Safety (S), historically known as a safetyman, is a position in gridiron football on the American football positions#Defense, defense. The University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM) is a public university in Monroe, Louisiana, United States. It is part of the University of Louisiana System. Fumble
A fumble in gridiron football occurs when a player who has possession and control of the ball loses it before being downed (tackled), scoring, or going out of bounds. By rule, it is any act other than passing, kicking, punting, or successful handing that results in loss of ball possession by a player.
