Rear Admiral Chris Bennett (8 December 1937 – 17 August 2021) was the author of a number of books. Naval career Bennett was born in KweKwe. He attended school at Kingswood College before joining the South African Navy. He commanded the Minesweeper in 1972. He was promoted to rear admiral in 1986 and appointed as Flag Officer Commanding Naval Command West until January 1989. In 1989 he was appointed Chief of Naval Staff and then as Chief of Naval Support. Christopher Bennett (born 1996) is an Irish hurler who plays for Dublin Senior Championship club Faughs. He is a former member of the Dublin senior hurling team, with whom he usually lined out as a forward. Career A member of the Faughs club in Templeogue, Bennett first came to prominence on the inter-county scene during a three-year tenure with the Dublin minor team. An All-Ireland runner-up in this grade, he later won a Leinster Under-21 Championship medal with the Dublin under-21 team. Bennett was straight out of the minor grade when he was drafted onto the Dublin senior hurling team in 2015. His three-year senior career saw him win a Walsh Cup title. Chris Bennett is an American jazz singer and songwriter. Bennett was born in Marshall, Illinois. She graduated from the University of Illinois. She has collaborated with Tina Turner, The Manhattan Transfer, Giorgio Moroder, Donna Summer, The Three Degrees The Three Degrees are an American female vocal group formed circa 1963 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Chris Bennett (born 15 January 1952) is a former soccer player who played as a forward in the North American Soccer League. Born in England, he played for the Canada national team at international level. He was one of the original Vancouver Whitecaps players from their first season in 1974. Since retiring from playing, he has been a football coach and instructor in the Vancouver area. Club career An English immigrant to Canada, Bennett was a member of the Vancouver Whitecaps of the NASL in their inaugural season of 1974, playing 8 games and netting two goals and an assist. Just before the 1976 season, the Whitecaps traded Bennett to the Seattle Sounders in exchange for Tommy Baldwin. In 1978, he moved to the Memphis Rogues. The Egyptian Royal Genealogy Project is a research project started by Egyptologist Christopher John "Chris" Bennett (1953–2014) in 2001. History The internet was meant as the medium for the project, which aimed at discussing new material related to the Ptolemaic dynasty as soon as they appeared, and provide direct access to primary sources for readers, such as inscriptions or papyri.
