China Railway CR200J
The CR200J Fuxing (train), Fuxing ( zh, s=复兴号, p=Fùxīng Hào) is a Chinese trainset consisting of a power car paired with unpowered passenger cars operated by China Railway. It is the slowest member of the Fuxing series, and only member of Fuxing series designed for existing railways under 200km/h rather than newer high-speed railways. The train was jointly designed and produced by six companies under CRRC. These units are nicknamed ''Green EMU'' or ''Hulk'' by the Chinese media, or "trash cans" among the railfan community due to its green appearance. Design and development The development of CR200J is initiated by China Railway, China Railway Corporation to create an affordable, economical, efficient higher-speed rail. CRRC Corporation Limited (known as CRRC) is a Chinese state-owned and publicly traded rolling stock manufacturer. It is the world's largest rolling stock manufacturer in terms of revenue, eclipsing its major competitors of Alstom and Siemens. It was formed on 1 June 2015 through the merger of CNR and CSR. Altitude sickness, the mildest form being acute mountain sickness (AMS), is a harmful effect of high altitude, caused by rapid exposure to low amounts of oxygen at high elevation. Sichuan–Tibet Railway
The Sichuan–Tibet railway, Sichuan–Xizang railway or Chuanzang railway () is a partially opened high-elevation and the National first-class trunk railway in China that will connect Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province, and Lhasa, the capital of Tibet, when fully completed. The line will be long, and significantly cut travel time from Chengdu to Lhasa from 48 to 13 hours. History The first segment to enter operation was from Chengdu–Ya'an on 28 December 2018. Green-skinned Train
The terms green-skinned train and green train ( zh, s=绿皮车, p=lǜpíchē, l=green skin carriage) refer to a type of design which used to be the mainstay of the passenger railway fleets of China and other communist countries during the Cold War. These words carry connotations of slow travel on old vehicles with few amenities, most notably lacking air conditioning. Chengdu–Chongqing Railway
Chengdu–Chongqing railway or Chengyu railway ( zh, s=成渝铁路, t=成渝鐵路, p=chéngyú tiělù), is a single-track electrified railroad in the Sichuan Basin of Southwest China between the cities Chengdu and Chongqing. Chongqing's short form name is Yu (渝) and the railway is named after the two cities. The line has a total length of . The Chengyu railway opened in 1952 and was the first railway to be built after the founding of the People's Republic of China.
