Ford Duratec engine is a line of engines used by Ford of Europe and United States for the company's range of gasoline-powered I3, I4, I5 and V6 passenger car engines. The first Duratec engine was co-designed by Ford and Porsche and introduced as the Duratec V6 in the 1993 Ford Mondeo. Power Stroke, also known as Powerstroke, is the name used by a family of diesel engines for trucks produced by Ford Motor Company and Navistar International (until 2010) for Ford products since 1994. Along with its use in the Ford F-Series (including the Ford Super Duty trucks), applications include the Ford E-Series, Ford Excursion, and Ford LCF commercial truck. Developed in the late 1980s by the Ford Motor Company, the Ford Zeta engine was a straight four, double overhead cam internal combustion engine intended to replace the Pinto and CVH models. The Zeta shared some parts with other Ford engines developed at the time, including the smaller ''Sigma'' I4 and larger '' Duratec'' V6. The engine shares its bore and stroke dimensions with the 2-valve CVH engine. Ford Power Products sells the Zeta in 1.8 L and 2.0 L versions as the MVH.
