Chhaila
''Raasaiyya'' is a 1995 Indian Tamil-language romance film written by R. Selvaraj which is the directorial debut of his younger brother R. Kannan, and produced by T. Siva. The film stars Prabhu Deva and Roja. It revolves around the life struggle and love life of the character played by the title character. The film was released on 24 August 1995, and failed at the box office. Plot Raasaiyya lives with his grandfather, Rathnavel, a kind-hearted and honest man in a small town in rural Southern India. Rathnavel is very easy-going and permits Raasaiyya to indulge in many precocious activities. When young and beautiful Anitha comes to stay for a few days with Rathnavel, both Raasaiyya and she fall in love with each other and would like to marry. But Raasaiyya is unable to assert himself, and Anitha's marriage is arranged with a NRI groom settled in the United States. Prabhu Deva
Prabhu Deva (born 3 April 1973) is an Indian dance choreographer, film director, producer and actor who has worked predominantly in Tamil language, Tamil, Hindi and Telugu language, Telugu language films also appeared in few Kannada and Malayalam films. In a career spanning 32 years, he has performed and designed dancing styles and has garnered two National Film Awards for National Film Award for Best Choreography, Best Choreography. In 2019, he was awarded the Padma Shri for his contributions to dance. Beginning with a series of acting roles in the 1990s and early 2000s, Prabhu Deva featured in several commercially successful films including ''Kaadhalan'' (1994), ''Love Birds (1996 film), Love Birds'' (1996), ''Minsara Kanavu'' (1997) and ''V.I.P (1997 film), VIP'' (1997). Krishnamoorthy (actor)
Krishnamoorthy (1963/1964 – 7 October 2019) was a comedian in the Tamil film industry in India. Career Krishnamoorthy moved from his home town Tiruvannamalai to Madras (now Chennai) in 1983, hoping to become an actor in films. Despite being initially unsuccessful, he joined the crew of the film '' Kuzhandhai Yesu'' (1984) as an office boy, and by the end of production, he was assigned the role of production manager. He subsequently went on to work on several films and adverts as a member of the crew. As a result, he was initially credited in films as Manager Krishnamoorthy. Krishnamoorthy made a breakthrough as a comedy actor through his role in '' Thavasi'' (2001), where he notably appeared in a scene where his character asks Vadivelu's character for directions to Osama bin Laden's and George W. Kalki (magazine)
''Kalki'' is a Tamil-language weekly magazine published from Chennai, India. The magazine was established by Kalki Krishnamurthy, a popular Tamil novelist and Indian freedom fighter, in 1941. T Sadasivam was the magazine's co-founder. The magazine is known for its publication of historic novels such as '' Ponniyin Selvan'' and '' Sivagamiyin Sabadham''. Singer Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer, guru of M S Subbulakshmi, and music critic S V Seshadri were also involved with the magazine in its coverage of music. Kalki Krishnamurthy also edited the magazine, which is published on a weekly basis. During his term the magazine was much more respected due to its quality. The magazine ceased publication in 1977, but resumed in June 1978. Google News Archive is an extension of Google News providing free access to scanned archives of newspapers and links to other newspaper archives on the web, both free and paid. Some of the news archives date back to 18th century. There is a timeline view available, to select news from various years. History The archive went live on June 6, 2006, after Google acquired PaperofRecord.com, originally created by Robert J. Huggins and his team at Cold North Wind, Inc. The acquisition was not publicly announced by Cold North Wind until 2008. While the service initially provided a simple index of other web pages, on September 8, 2008, Google News began to offer indexed content from scanned newspapers. The depth of chronological coverage varies. Newspapers were thought to have escaped copyright obligations of news articles because of Google's method of publishing the archives as searchable image files of the actual newspaper pages, rather than as pure text of articles. New Straits Times
The ''New Straits Times'' is an English-language newspaper published in Malaysia. It is Malaysia's oldest newspaper still in print (though not the first), having been founded as a local offshoot of Singapore-based ''The Straits Times'' on 15 July 1845. It was renamed as the ''New Straits Times'' on 13 August 1974. The paper served as Malaysia's only broadsheet format English-language newspaper; however, following the example of British newspapers ''The Times'' and ''The Independent'', a tabloid version first rolled off the presses on 1 September 2004 and since 18 April 2005, the newspaper has been published only in tabloid size, ending a 160-year-old tradition of broadsheet publication. The ''New Straits Times'' currently retails at RM1.50 (~37 US cents) in Peninsular Malaysia. As of 2 January 2019, the group editor of the newspaper is Rashid Yusof.
