Changsha WES Academy ( zh, first=s, s=长沙玮希国际学校) is a K-12 international school located in Changsha, Hunan province, China, established in 2010. It is the only school for children of foreign personnel approved by the Ministry of Education in Hunan province, and the only K–12 international school in the province with English as the primary language of instruction. A school for children of foreign personnel () is a type of non-public K–12 school in mainland China. This type of school can only admit the children of people with foreign nationality and legal Chinese long-term residence visas, and their children are also required to have foreign nationality. Foreign institutions, foreign-invested enterprises, offices of international organizations legally established or registered in China, and foreign citizens legally residing in China can apply to open schools for the children of foreign personnel. K-1 is a professional kickboxing promotion established in 1993 by karateka Kazuyoshi Ishii. Originally under the ownership of the Fighting and Entertainment Group (FEG), K-1 was considered to be the largest Kickboxing organization in the world. The organization was known for its heavyweight division fights and Grand Prix tournaments. K-1 also promoted mixed martial arts events, with some events having both kickboxing and MMA matches on their cards (such as their K-1 Premium Dynamite!!, Dynamite!! series).
