Cecilia Wang Shi Shi (; born 21 April 1981), also known as Cissy Wang, is a Hong Kong model who was crowned Miss Chinese Toronto in 2000. She is married to Donnie Yen. Early life Wang was born in Hong Kong on 21 April 1981. Her parents were in the jewelry business. She has a younger sister named Irene Wang Yuen Yuen (). They spent their childhood in Lima, Peru before moving to Canada. Wang speaks Cantonese, Mandarin Chinese, English, Spanish, and French. Career Wang was a contestant in the Fairchild TV Miss Chinese Toronto Pageant at Toronto in 2000 and won first place. She was also awarded the Miss Photogenic, Most Talented Award, and Best Posture Award. She is the co-founder of Super Bullet Pictures and has been the manager of her husband Donnie Yen. Wāng (汪) is a Chinese surname. It was 104th of the ''Hundred Family Surnames'' poem, contained in the verse Yáo, Shào, Zhàn, Wāng (姚邵湛汪). The Hong Kong Derby is a Hong Kong Thoroughbred horse race held annually since 1873. Restricted to horses four-years-old only since 1981, the race is run in mid-March and is the premier event on the domestic racing programme with a purse of HK$18 million (app. US$2.3 million). This is the last race in the Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing#Hong Kong, Hong Kong Four-Year-Old Classic Series. Sha Tin Racecourse
Sha Tin Racecourse is one of the two racecourses for horse racing in Hong Kong. It is located in Sha Tin District, Sha Tin in the New Territories. It is managed by Hong Kong Jockey Club. Penfold Park is encircled by the track, and the Hong Kong Sports Institute is located immediately south of the property. The Miss Chinese Toronto Pageant (多倫多華裔小姐競選), also known as MCTP, and formerly known as the Greater Toronto Chinese Pageant prior to 1999, is an annual beauty pageant organized by Fairchild TV that selects Toronto's representative for the annual Miss Chinese International Pageant, held in Hong Kong, organized by TVB. It is unrelated to the now-discontinued Miss Chinese Scarborough Pageant which was also hosted in the same region. The current Miss Chinese Toronto is Juvally Chan (陳靖如), winner of the 2024 pageant.
