Casey Muratori
Casey Muratori (born 1976) is an American computer programmer and game developer. He is known for his work on Bink Video and Granny 3D while working at RAD Game Tools, for popularizing the concept of Immediate mode (computer graphics)#Immediate mode GUI, immediate mode GUI (IMGUI) and coining the term, and for the Handmade Hero series of educational videos. Early life Muratori was raised near Framingham, Massachusetts. Muratori began programming at the age of 7 in the BASIC programming language. His father was a programmer at Digital Equipment Corporation and taught Muratori how to program. Muratori's father also got programming books for Muratori to learn from. The Gilbert–Johnson–Keerthi distance algorithm is a method of determining the minimum distance between two convex sets, first published by Elmer G. Gilbert, Daniel W. Johnson, and S. Sathiya Keerthi in 1988.
