Cartman
Eric Theodore Cartman, commonly referred to as just Cartman, is a fictional character in the adult animated sitcom ''South Park'', created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone. He is voiced by Parker, and is one of the series' four main characters, alongside Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, and Kenny McCormick. He first appeared with the name Kenny in the short film '' The Spirit of Christmas'' (1992), and later appeared in the 1995 film of the same title before debuting in " Cartman Gets an Anal Probe", the first episode of the series, on August 13, 1997. Cartman is an elementary school student who lives with his single mother, Liane, in the eponymous Colorado town. Cartman is principally characterized by his obesity, his amorality, and his bigoted and especially antisemitic disposition, being described by Parker and Stone as "a little Archie Bunker". Scott Tenorman Must Die
"Scott Tenorman Must Die" is the fourth episode of the fifth season of the American animated television series ''South Park'', and the 69th episode of the series overall. It first aired on Comedy Central in the United States on July 11, 2001. In the episode, high schooler Scott Tenorman makes Eric Cartman believe that buying pubic hair from him will make Cartman reach puberty. Realizing that he had been tricked, an angry Cartman plots revenge on Scott. ''South Park'' creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone point to this episode as a milestone in the series. The episode introduced significant changes in the characterization of Cartman, setting the standard for his psychopathic antics in the following seasons; it also prompted the creators to only focus on one plot within an episode, whereas the show's earlier episodes involved several loosely related subplots that merged in the episode's final act. Liane Cartman
Liane Cartman, formerly known as Carol Cartman, is a fictional character in the adult animated television series ''South Park''. She is the single mother of main character Eric, who raises him in the fictional town of South Park, Colorado. Liane is considered one of the more prominent parents of all the South Park parents, as she makes many appearances throughout the series. Liane first appeared in the series' first episode " Cartman Gets an Anal Probe", which premiered on Comedy Central on August 13, 1997. Though the first episode, as well as the " Spirit of Christmas" shorts made by series co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, were animated with construction paper through stop motion, after the series third episode, " Weight Gain 4000", she is animated with a computer and rendered to mimic that style. "Cartman Gets an Anal Probe" is the series premiere of the American animated television series ''South Park''. It originally aired on Comedy Central in the United States on August 13, 1997. The episode introduces child protagonists Eric Cartman, Kyle Broflovski, Stanley "Stan" Marsh and Kenneth "Kenny" McCormick, who attempt to rescue Kyle's adopted brother Ike from being abducted by aliens. Part of a reaction to the culture wars of the 1990s in the United States, ''South Park'' is deliberately offensive. Much of the show's humor, and of "Cartman Gets an Anal Probe", arises from the juxtaposition of the seeming innocence of childhood and the violent, crude behavior exhibited by the main characters. "200" is the fifth episode of the South Park season 14, fourteenth season of the American animated television series ''South Park'', and the 200th overall episode of the series, hence the name. It originally aired on Comedy Central in the United States on April 14, 2010. In the episode, Tom Cruise and all other celebrities who have been mocked by residents of South Park in the past plan to file a class action lawsuit against the town, but Cruise promises to end the lawsuit if the town can get the Islamic prophet Muhammad to meet him. The episode was written and directed by series co-creator Trey Parker.
