Club Sportiv Unirea Ungheni 2018, also known as Unirea Ungheni, or simply as Ungheni, is a Romanian football club based in Ungheni, Mureș County, which currently competes in Liga II, the second tier of Romanian football. Unirea Ungheni's traditional colors are red and blue, and the team plays its home matches at the Central Stadium in Ungheni, which has a seating capacity of 2,000, earning promotion to the second division at the end of the 2023–24 season after defeating Gloria Bistrița-Năsăud in the promotion play-off. History Unirea Ungheni was founded in 1947 and played mostly in district, regional, and county championships. ASA Târgu Mureș (1962)
ASA Târgu Mureș is a Romanian football club based in Târgu Mureș, Mureș County. It was founded in 1962, and in August 1964 merged with Mureșul Târgu Mureș. Financially sustained by the Ministry of National Defence, ASA was considered privileged by the communist regime and an unofficial satellite club of Steaua București. Its ascent was fast, ASA becoming one of the most notable teams in the country. After the Romanian Revolution, "the Army Men" declined and in 2005 went bankrupt. Between 2008 and 2018, the local authorities supported FCM Târgu Mureș, which was later renamed ASA 2013 Târgu Mureș, but the new entity did not hold the record of the original club. Ion Moina Stadium
Ion Moina Stadium was a multi-use stadium in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. It was used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of U Cluj. The stadium held 28,000 people and was inaugurated in 1911. The first football and athletics stadium in Cluj-Napoca was built between 1908 and 1911. It had wooden stands and had a capacity of 1,500 people. The official inauguration in 1911 was done by organizing a game between a Cluj XI and Galatasaray Istanbul. It was the first game in Europe for Galatasaray, and Cluj won 8–1. In 1961, new stands were built and the capacity of the stadium became 28,000 on wooden benches, while the old stands were moved to Câmpia Turzii.
