Bukit Merah
Bukit Merah, also known as Redhill, is a Planning Areas of Singapore, planning area and New towns of Singapore, new town situated in the southernmost part of the Central Region, Singapore, Central Region of Singapore. The planning area borders Tanglin to the north, Queenstown, Singapore, Queenstown to the west and the Downtown Core, Outram, Singapore, Outram and Singapore River planning areas of the Central Area, Singapore, Central Area to the east. Southern Ridges
The Southern Ridges comprise of trails connecting three parks along the southern ridge of Singapore. Some of the attractions along these trails include its greenery and the connecting bridges. This project linked up the parks between the Kent Ridge Park and HarbourFront. The idea to link these parks was coined in 2002 by Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and it took 2 years to complete and cost S$25.5 million. Eric Chua Swee Leong ( zh, s=蔡瑞隆, p=Cài Ruìlóng, first=poj; born 27 May 1979) is a Singaporean politician who has been serving as Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Culture, Community and Youth and Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Social and Family Development concurrently since 2022. Melvin Yong Yik Chye ( zh, s=杨益财, p=Yáng Yìcái; born 19 February 1972) is a Singaporean politician, union leader and former police officer.
