Andrew Bynum
Andrew Bynum (born October 27, 1987) is an American former professional basketball player. He played the majority of his career with the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). After they selected him in the first round of the 2005 NBA draft with the 10th overall pick, the center won two NBA championships with the team in 2009 and 2010. He was named an All-Star and selected to the All-NBA team in 2012. Bynum was an All-American player in high school before he decided to forgo college and enter the NBA. He became the youngest player ever to play in an NBA game. After seven seasons with the Lakers, he was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers in 2012 as part of a four-team deal that sent All-Star center Dwight Howard to Los Angeles. Preston Conrad Bynum (June 8, 1939 – October 31, 2018) was a lobbyist in Little Rock, Arkansas, United States, who served as a Republican member of the Arkansas House of Representatives from January 1969 to December 1980. Political career Bynum was born in Pryor Creek, Oklahoma. He was an automobile dealer, with the Bynum Motor Company, the family business, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas when he was elected to the Arkansas General Assembly. Bynum died at his home in Lakeland, Florida, from heart failure. He succeeded fellow Republican Jim Sheets and became one of only four Republicans in the 100-member House. Henry Clarke Bynum Jr. (November 13, 1961 – September 3, 2007) was an American basketball player for the Clemson Tigers who helped to stop a plane hijacking in 2000. A McDonald's All-American at Wilson Hall in Sumter, South Carolina, Bynum played for the Clemson Tigers at Clemson University from 1980 to 1984. He was 6 foot 7 inches tall.
