Bryan Meredith (born August 2, 1989) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper. Early life Raised in Scotch Plains, New Jersey, Meredith attended top public program Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School and achieved the following honors: NSCAA/adidas All-America in 2006. Named NSCAA/adidas All-Region in 2005. Named first-team all-state goalkeeper in 2004, 2005 and 2006. Three-time all-state first-team by the Star Ledger. Star Ledger Union County Player of the Year in 2006. Holds high school record for shutouts (47). Collegiate career Meredith attended Monmouth University, where he was team captain. Scotch Plains is a township in Union County, New Jersey, United States. The township is located on a ridge in northern-central New Jersey, within the Raritan Valley and Rahway Valley regions in the New York metropolitan area. Terrence Boss (born September 1, 1981) is a retired professional soccer goalkeeper and a collegiate soccer coach. Career College and Amateur Boss played college soccer for the University of Tulsa from 2000–2004, starting 20 games, and also featured for Cascade Surge, Vermont Voltage and Fort Wayne Fever in the USL Premier Development League. Professional Boss began his professional career in the 2005 season with the Charlotte Eagles in the USL Second Division. In 2006, he moved to the Puerto Rico Islanders in the USL First Division, serving as the club's backup goalkeeper. MLS Cup 2019 was the 24th edition of the MLS Cup, the championship match of Major League Soccer (MLS), and took place on November 10, 2019, at CenturyLink Field in Seattle, Washington, United States. Soccer Bowl 2013 was the North American Soccer League's postseason championship match of the 2013 season held to determine the NASL Champion. The event was contested in a one-game match between the Atlanta Silverbacks, winners of the Spring Championship, and the New York Cosmos, winners of the Fall Championship. The game was held on November 9, 2013 at Atlanta Silverbacks Park, in Atlanta, Georgia. It was televised at 7:30pm EDT on ESPN3 and ESPN Deportes. New York won the match by the score of 1–0. Soccer Bowl (2011–2017)
The NASL Championship was the annual championship competition of the North American Soccer League (NASL), which formed the second division of American soccer from 2011 to 2017. The competition was held at the end of the regular season and was contested by the two finalists of the playoffs to determine the winner of the NASL Trophy, known as the Soccer Bowl Trophy. The tournament is named for the Soccer Bowl from the original incarnation of the NASL, which ran from 1967 to 1984. The 2011 and 2012 titles were decided in a two-game aggregate finish. Since 2013 the championship has been a single-game final. The MLS SuperDraft is an annual college draft for teams of Major League Soccer in the United States and Canada. It takes place in January and is used by teams to select players who have graduated from college or otherwise been signed by the league. The SuperDraft was first instituted in 2000, as a combination of the MLS College Draft, in which players having graduated from college were selected, and the MLS Supplemental Draft, in which all other players were chosen. The North American Soccer League (NASL) was a professional men's soccer league based in the United States. The league was named for, but had no connection to, the original North American Soccer League. The later NASL was founded in 2009, and began play in 2011 with eight teams. The Philadelphia Union are an American professional soccer club based in Chester, Pennsylvania. The Union compete in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member of the Eastern Conference.
