National Broadcasting Services of Thailand ( th, สถานีวิทยุโทรทัศน์แห่งประเทศไทย) (NBT) is the broadcasting arm of the Government Public Relations Department (PRD), a division of the Thai Government. It operates comprehensive media services comprising radio, television networks (terrestrial and satellite), online services and social media. Southern Thailand, Southern Siam or Tambralinga is a southernmost cultural region of Thailand, separated from Central Thailand region by the Kra Isthmus. Geography Southern Thailand is on the Malay Peninsula, with an area of around , bounded to the north by Kra Isthmus, the narrowest part of the peninsula. The western part has highly steep coasts, while on the east side river plains dominate. The largest river of the south is the Tapi in Surat Thani, which together with the Phum Duang in Surat Thani drains more than , more than 10 percent of the total area of southern Thailand. Channel GMM 25 (simply GMM 25) is a Thai digital terrestrial television channel owned by GMM Grammy GMM Grammy Public Company Limited ( th, จีเอ็มเอ็ม แกรมมี่ or G"MM' Grammy) is the largest media conglomerate entertainment company in Thailand. Workpoint TV is Thailand's television station, owned by Workpoint Entertainment, broadcasting on channel 23 of Thailand's digital television. History Workpoint Entertainment began to test their satellite TV broadcasting Channel for Workpoints TV On September 26 of 2011. Then on October 3 in the same year, the formal program plan was announced and originally began at the end of the test broadcasting period. Nation TV ( th, เนชั่นทีวี) is the first 24-hour news television channel in Thailand, owned by Nation TV Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Nation Group. Panthongtae Shinawatra (born December 2, 1979) ( th, พานทองแท้ ชินวัตร; ), nickname Oak, is the only son of former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra. He became a billionaire after having been given a large portion of his father's stock in Shin Corporation which transferred to him shortly before Thaksin ascended to the position of prime minister.
