Boyan Yordanov
Boyan Yordanov ( bg, Боян Йорданов, born 12 March 1983) is a Bulgarian volleyball player, member of the Bulgaria men's national volleyball team. Boyan started his career in Levski Volley, Levski (Siconco) Sofia. He made his first cap for Bulgaria men's national volleyball team, Bulgaria in a match against France on the 2006 World Championship in Osaka. He entered as a sub in the third game with France leading 2:0. At the end, Bulgaria won 3:2. Bulgaria got to the bronze medals on the same WC. He has got a silver medal from the 2003 U-21 World Championship in Iran as well. Levski Volley
VC Levski Sofia ( bg, ВК Левски София) is a professional Bulgarian volleyball team based in Sofia. It has both men's and women's teams, both playing in its respective Bulgarian Volleyball Leagues. Founded in 1943, the team plays its home games at Levski Sofia Sports Hall in Sofia. The women's team became the first Bulgarian volleyball club that were crowned European champion in 1963–64 season. Levski is also the only Bulgarian club that reached 4 times European Cup finals and 6 times CEV Cup finals. 2012–13 Volleyleague (Greece)
The 2012−2013 Volleyleague is the 45th season of the Greek national volleyball league. Olympiacos was the winner beating Pamvochaikos in the finals. This was Olympiacos' 26th Championship. The teams that were relegated were Iraklis Thessaloniki (because of financial problems) and AONS Milon. The MVP of championship was awarded to Olympiacos' Boyan Yordanov. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The complete set of rules is extensive, but play essentially proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court.
