Border-to-Border Trail
The Border-to-Border (B2B) Trail is a partially constructed non-motorized trail in Washtenaw County, Michigan. The trail is planned to cover approximately from Livingston County to Wayne County along the Huron River. In thirteen segments from A to M, it will link Huron-Clinton Metroparks with Dexter Township, the Village of Dexter, Scio Township, the City of Ann Arbor, Ann Arbor Township Ann Arbor Charter Township is a charter township of Washtenaw County in the U.S. state of Michigan. Ford Lake (Michigan)
Ford Lake is a fresh water artificial reservoir located in Washtenaw County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The lake was created from the construction of Ford Lake Dam (originally known as Rawsonville Dam) along the Huron River in the early 1930s. The lake is named after business magnate Henry Ford. The lake covers an area of and has a maximum depth of near the eastern end. The lake continues the flow of the Huron River, beginning approximately at the Interstate 94 bridge crossing in the city of Ypsilanti and ends at Ford Lake Dam along Bridge Road in Ypsilanti Township. A short distance after the Ford Lake Dam, the Huron River continues into Belleville Lake, which itself is a reservoir created by the French Landing Dam and Powerhouse. Delhi Metropark
Delhi Metropark is a park in the Huron-Clinton system of metro parks. It is an park on the Huron River located five miles (8 km) northwest of Ann Arbor. It has picnic areas, two picnic shelters, swings and slides, river fishing, canoe rental and softball diamonds. A children's playground features an adventure playship, ride-on toys and swings. A Metropark daily or annual vehicle permit is required for entry to the park. The park will eventually be linked to Dexter-Huron Metropark and Hudson Mills Metropark via the Border-to-Border Trail. History In 1835, there was a sawmill located on the Huron River at this site. That year, Norman Gooddale purchased the mill for $50 and added a flour mill to the site. Hudson Mills Metropark
Hudson Mills Metropark is a park in the Huron-Clinton system of metro parks in Michigan, USA. It is located on North Territorial Road at the crossing of the Huron River, twelve miles (19 km) northwest of Ann Arbor. The park covers 1,549 acres (627 ha) and has an 18-hole golf course, disc golf courses, picnic areas, swings and slides, softball diamonds, a hike-bike trail, nature trails, river fishing, a canoe camp and a group camp.
