Bombay Priyudu
''Bombay Priyudu'' () is a 1996 Telugu-language romance film, starring J. D. Chakravarthy and Rambha. The film was dubbed in Tamil as ''Bombay Kadhali'' and in Hindi as ''Main Tere Pyar Mein Pagal''. The film takes its inspiration from Hindi movie, '' Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge'' (1995). Plot Chitti Babu ( J. D. Chakravarthy) and Pyarelal (Sudhakar) are roommates in Bombay. With photography as occupation, Chitti Babu is forever prowling the streets with his camera. One day when he comes to the airport to take pictures of a man, he spots Raga Sudha ( Rambha) and falls in love with her at first sight. Rambha (born Vijayalakshmi; 5 June 1976) is an Indian actress. In a career spanning of almost two decades, Rambha had appeared in more than 100 films across eight regional languages, predominantly in Telugu and Tamil, in addition to Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi along with few Bengali, Bhojpuri and English films. Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry (born Chembolu Seetharama Sastry; 20 May 1955 – 30 November 2021) was an Indian poet and lyricist known for his works in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. He acquired the stage name Sirivennela after writing the lyrics for K. Viswanath's directorial film of the same name in 1986. Sastry has garnered several awards including eleven state Nandi Awards and four Filmfare Awards South for his work. He has penned lyrics for over 3000 songs until 2020. Anuradha Sriram (born 9 July 1970) is an Indian carnatic and playback singer and child actress who hails from the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Veturi Sundararama Murthy (29 January 1936 – 22 May 2010), known mononymously by his surname Veturi, was an Indian poet, lyricist and journalist who is popular for writing Telugu songs.
