Bloodstrike is an American death metal band formed in 2013. The band is a prominent name in the resurgence of the old school Swedeath or Swedish death metal scene, utilizing the classic Hm-2 'chainsaw' guitar tone. History Bloodstrike was formed in Denver, Colorado by guitarist Jeff Alexis and vocalist Holly Wedel in 2013 with the intent of playing an old school style of death metal. Alexis had formerly played bass in the thrash band Silencer (with Ritchie Wilkinson ex- Angel Dust, ex- Demons and Wizards) and had known Wedel for a while when she was the vocalist for Torrid Flesh (with members of Satan's Host, including Marcus Garcia, who would later fill in on bass with Bloodstrike, as well as Richie Tice ex-Speedwolf, ex-Havok) and Nexhymn (with Tyler Cantrell ex-Havok). He had also filled in on bass with Nexhymn at one point. They next contacted friend Joe Piker to play guitar because of his taste in music and past work with bands like Clusterfux, Dripfed, and Doomed Youth. ...

Mausoleum Records was a Belgian-based heavy metal label, once considered by '' Billboard'' as "one of Europe's premier hard rock labels". Alfie Falckenbach founded the Mausoleum Records label in 1982 (he also founded the Music Avenue label, and the blues label Blues Boulevard Records). Bands releasing material on the label included Anvil, Faithful Breath, Great White, Killer, L.A. Guns, Nazareth, Omen, Ostrogoth, Ian Gillan Band and Warlock.
