Blazing Sixes
''Blazing Sixes'' is a 1937 American Western film directed by Noel M. Smith and written by John T. Neville. The film stars Dick Foran, Joan Valerie, Mira McKinney, John Merton, Glenn Strange and Kenneth Harlan. It was the 9th of 12 B-westerns Foran starred in for the studio, and is noteworthy for giving perennial villain Strange a rare good-guy role as the simple-minded cowhand Pee Wee. The film was released by Warner Bros. on June 12, 1937. Plot The plot follows government agent Red Barton as he goes into a small Western town in order to find the source of recent gold robberies, and Barbara Morgan who goes into the city to claim a ranch that is part of her inheritance, but that also serves as the headquarters of an outlaw gang. Studio System by Gracenote, formerly known as Baseline StudioSystems, is an American e-commerce company. It was founded in 1982 and licenses its commercial entertainment database, known as Studio System. It is owned by Gracenote, a subsidiary of Nielsen Holdings. History James Monaco founded Baseline in 1982. Their primary product, an entertainment database, was launched in 1985. Jack Mower (September 5, 1890 – January 6, 1965) was an American film actor. He appeared in more than 520 films between 1914 and 1965. He was born in Honolulu and died in Hollywood. After studying at Punahou College, in Honolulu, Mower moved to the mainland, and performed in vaudeville and in musical comedies on stage. His work on screen included serials and silent films. Leonard Miles "Bud" Osborne (July 20, 1884 – February 2, 1964) was an American film actor. He appeared in more than 600 films and television programs between 1912 and 1963. Biography Osborne was born Miles Osborne in Knox County, Texas, on February 20, 1884. Osborne attended Oklahoma City schools and was a rancher in Oklahoma's Indian Territory before he became an entertainer. After working with the 101 Ranch Show for five years, he worked with Buffalo Bill's Wild West show for one year in 1912. He became a member of Thomas H. Ince's film company in 1915. Osborne specialized in westerns, and was also noted for his skill as a stage driver, and was thus much in demand from his first film in 1912 right through the early 1950s.
