Blauw-Wit Amsterdam
FC Blauw-Wit Amsterdam ( en, Blue-White) was a Dutch football club from Amsterdam. The name referred to the colours of their uniform, blue and white. History Founded on 10 May 1902 as a local club in the Kinkerbuurt area of Amsterdam, from 1928 it started to play its home matches in the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam. The club entered professional football in the Netherlands in 1954. In 1972 the club merged with Volewijckers and DWS to form FC Amsterdam. Blauw-Wit continued as an amateur club, that still exists today. Originally named ''VICTORIA!'' the club merged with another neighborhood club ''Holland'' from which point the combined clubs took on the name Blauw-Wit and were permitted into the Derde Klasse by the NVB. From 1914 until 1928 Blauw-Wit played in the Old Stadion, before moving to the Olympic Stadium. Louis Davids (born Simon David; 19 December 1883 – 1 July 1939) was a Dutch actor, singer, comedian and revue artist. He is widely considered one of the biggest names in Dutch performing arts. The Netherlands national football team ( nl, Nederlands voetbalelftal or simply ''Het Nederlands elftal'') has represented the Netherlands in international men's football matches since 1905. The men's national team is controlled by the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB), the governing body for football in the Netherlands, which is a part of UEFA, under the jurisdiction of FIFA. Sport Vereniging Limburgia was a Dutch football/sports club from the city of Brunssum, Netherlands. It has been renamed BSV Limburgia. History SV Limburgia was founded on 9 May 1920 by the Limburgian coal mines, under the name ''Rhenania''. In 1927 the club moved to Park Limburgia situated along the Venweg and was renamed ''Sportvereniging Staatsmijn Hendrik'' (Sportsclub Coalmine Hendrik). Abe Lenstra
Abe Minderts Lenstra (27 November 1920 – 2 September 1985) was a Dutch footballer and national football icon in the 1950s who played as a forward. He is regarded as one of the greatest players ever to hail from the Netherlands. He was also a Frisian legend, most notably with the club where he made his name as a football player, Heerenveen. Sportclub Heerenveen (; West Frisian: Sportklub It Hearrenfean) is a Dutch football club from Heerenveen. They currently play in the Eredivisie, the top level of football in the Netherlands. History Sportclub Heerenveen was founded on 20 July 1920 in the town of Heerenveen, Friesland, as Athleta. It changed name twice, first to Spartaan and then to v.v. Heerenveen in 1922. Enschedese Boys is a non-league football club from the Dutch city Enschede. In 1965 the professional team of ''De Boys'' merged with their rivals Sportclub Enschede to FC Twente (both clubs continued in non-league football). Currently ''Enschedese Boys'' plays in the Vierde Klasse (8th tier in Dutch football). History ''Enschedese Boys'' was founded on 20 April 1906 by a couple of teenagers under the name ''Lotisco''. Marinus Jacobus Hendricus Michels (; 9 February 1928 – 3 March 2005) was a Dutch football player and coach. He played his entire career for AFC Ajax, which he later managed, and played for and later managed the Netherlands national team for four spells.
