A hromada ( uk, територіальна громада, lit=territorial community, translit=terytorialna hromada) is a basic unit of administrative division in Ukraine, similar to a municipality. It was established by the Government of Ukraine on 12 June 2020. Similar terms exist in Poland (''gromada'') and in Belarus (''hramada''). The literal translation of this term is "community", similarly to the terms used in western European states, such as Germany (''Gemeinde''), France ('' commune'') and Italy (''comune''). Blahovishchenske Raion ( uk, Благовіщенський район), formerly Ulianovka Raion ( uk, Ульяновський район) was a raion (district) of Kirovohrad Oblast in central Ukraine. The administrative center of the raion was the city of Blahovishchenske. The raion was abolished on 18 July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Kirovohrad Oblast to four.
